ASSOCIAZIONI-Ceramics

          Curiosity to experiment with hand-made ceramics and finishes gave rise to the project “Associazioni” which creates objects and vases.The project draws on ancient heritage, combining shapes of classical simplicity with allusions to the designs of the whimsical Italian artist Gino de Dominicis.The result is a kind of juxtaposition of volumes and finishes.The objects impinge on each other. Their projections evoke collective memory rather than design features. Volumes vary and the proportions also differ.This project is an ongoing experiment rather than a design solution.Its purpose is tentative; its language simple and sensual.
